How to summarize 2016 at Esokia ? A lots of coffee, tea, great projects and a desire to open our agency… open to the world, open to others, open to discoveries.
An opening to new destinations
For our digital agency, 2016 was the year of discovering new destinations. In May 2016, our big family had the pleasure to welcome new office in Belgrade, Serbia. Specialized in mobile development, .Net and Magento, this office has the advantage to be at the same time zone as Paris and close to the biggest European cities. A good thing to share with our European clients. And for those who like to visit us in our offices… Belgrade is beautiful, dynamic and only two hours flight away from Paris!
During this year, we have also opened offices in the beautiful French capital and in Costa Rica since July! But no worries, we won’t forget our team in Mauritius where our 60 digital addicts work to create the website and/or the mobile app of your dreams.
In 2016, Esokia also discovered new destinations thanks to great projects realized in Europe, Mauritius and Africa. We had the wonderful opportunity to assist Orange in its digital strategy on this continent, and to create the Starafrica.com portal highlighting Africa in many fields as football, entrepreneurship and music!
An opening to new profiles
An opening to new destinations for us means an opening to new profiles. Nowadays, Esokia counts a hundred of developers all around the world. Our Mauritian team has grown and today it counts 60 developers.
Even with only 15 developers in Belgrade, our Serbian team has nothing to be ashamed of in comparison to our Mauritian team. Once the project has started, nothing can stop them until the work is perfectly done. Our teams are tenacious, young, dynamics and above all: passionate.
An opening to new technologies
Since digital is our everyday life and our everyday motivation, for us it is a matter of honor to stay in touch with the latest technologies. During 2016, we increased our expertise on Drupal, WordPress and Magento. Our goal? Develop totally responsive websites. A hard and long work for all of our services, but also a work that brings us a huge satisfaction when the project is done and the client thanks us.
2016 was also a “mobile” year with the acquisition of the Mauritian society ReefCube which helped our agency to reinforce its offer to develop native mobile and tablet apps (IOS, Android, Windows Phone). An opportunity for our developers to increase their knowledge on Laravell, ReactJS and Xamarin technologies.
In New Year 2017, let’s continue to be open and to grow together!
